Plan UK is one of the largest child-centred community development organisations in the world.

With no religious or political affiliations they work with families and communities in the poorest countries to make lasting improvements to the lives of children.

In the countries where they work one out of five children die before the age of five and the ones who survive often go hungry and have little chance of ever learning to read and write. Plan UK works with children, parents and their community to plan practical ways to provide many of the things we take for granted in the UK, so that together they build schools, drill wells, train nurses and help families to better support themselves.
